During Bukowskis Contemporary Art & Design auction, female portraits, including both faces and figures, opera houses, abstract sculptures, and terrazzo furniture all saw success. The catalogue featured artists like Jim Nutt, Ellen von Unwerth, Jockum Nordström, Eva Hild and Erling Viksjø.

Swedish highlights included Karin Broo's The Red Sofa 2, Charlotte Gyllenhammar's Night Descend Miniature, Ola Billgren's Female Figure in Landscape, Sten Eklund's The Secret of the Kulla House and Jockum Nordström's La Scala. The latter work was part of the collection sold by the newly established foundation Art for the Globe, founded by doctor Johan Wallin, who has collected contemporary Swedish art throughout his life.

Among the international names, the artists Tal R and Tania Marmolejo stood out, with their works selling well above expectations. German photographer Ellen von Unwerth's Supernatural Lady from 1991 sold for SEK 338,000 ($30,377) and was the most expensive work in the photography section.

The portrait Tooth did not break the previous record but was sold for an impressive SEK 8,125,000 ($730,226), well above the estimate (SEK 3-5 million).

It was not just art, graphics and photography that were up for bidding. Items by Ettore Sottsass, Gaetano Pesce, Ubald Klug, Jonas Bohlin and Mats Theselius also went under the hammer. Erling Viksjø's terrazzo table changed hands for SEK 81,250 ($7,302), a new record for a piece of furniture by the Norwegian designer.

A few hours later, the spotlight shifted to Important Timepieces. Over a hundred exclusive collector's watches from the world's leading watchmakers were auctioned. The Patek Philippe Nautilus 'Piano Dial' ref. 5711 claimed the title of the most expensive watch at the auction, selling for SEK 600,000 ($53,924). The Finnish brand Sarpaneva also enjoyed success, with their wristwatch, the reference Loiste II 'Double Black Moons', fetching SEK 425,000 ($38,196), four times its initial asking price..
