1955 Ferrari 750 Monza (Estimate: $3,500,000–$4,500,000)
Ferrari’s 750 Monza represents the first big-bore application of Aurelio Lampredi’s four-cylinder architecture in sports racing form, effectively pairing the Series II Mondial concept with a 2,999 cc Tipo 119 inline-four producing about 255 bhp—huge torque and pace without a weight penalty. Chassis 0522 M, bodied by Scaglietti, was delivered new to influential Ferrari figure Franco Cornacchia of Scuderia Guastalla, driven by Brazilian ace Chico Landi in the 1955 Gran Premio di Bari, and later campaigned in Southern California during 1956–1957 under owners Alan Le May and Jack Bates. Mulliner Fastback form, the Bentley R-Type Continental remains one of the great high-speed grand tourers of the postwar era, built in tiny numbers and revered for its ability to cover serious distance with effortless refinement. Chassis 4248 is a standout original P400 S delivered new to Milan in highly desirable Arancio Miura, retaining its matching-numbers engine per factory records and benefiting from a multiple Best of Class-winning restoration overseen by Quality Automotive and supported by extensive documentation. 1974 Ferrari Dino 246 GTS (Estimate: $900,000–$1,100,000)
Among the most coveted late-production Dinos are the so-called “Chairs and Flares” cars—E-Series examples with Daytona-style seats, flared arches, and Campagnolo wheels, produced in very limited numbers and prized for representing the Dino’s ultimate evolution. Chassis 08062, coachbuilt by Scaglietti, elevates that rarity to truly singular status as the only Dino originally delivered in Signal Orange, a vivid special-order color selected from Porsche’s palette. Early, even-serial-numbered Ferrari Exports sit at the heart of the marque’s competition-bred origin story, and the 212 Export represents one of the most important foundational Colombo V-12 models, built in very small numbers and clothed by Italy’s top coachbuilders. Chassis 0076E, an exquisitely styled Michelotti Spider by Vignale, made its debut at the Geneva and Torino Motor Shows in spring 1951 and carries extraordinary cultural provenance as the first Ferrari owned by legendary Italian director Roberto Rossellini. Chassis CSX2327 is especially appealing for collectors thanks to its fully documented history in the SAAC Registry, retention of its original aluminum bodywork and matching-numbers engine, and a strong awards record including multiple SAAC National Class wins and Best of Show honors.
