Turquoise

Turquoise is blue-green in color and the name means “Turkish stone.” Pure turquoise is unusual; instead, turquoise mainly occurs in darker veins because the stone also contains other minerals. Hardness on the Mohs scale is 6. Commonly found in the US, China, Australia and México.
