Herman Miller

Herman Miller was founded as the Star Furniture Co in Zeeland, Michigan, USA in 1905. By the 1950s the brand was well known and synonymous with modern design. During this time the company worked with designers such as Charles and Ray Eames and George Nelson and produced furniture that would soon be seen as classic examples of industrial design. Some of the most importand pieces are the Equa chair, Noguchi table, Eames Lounge chair, Aeron chair and Marshmallow sofa. Today the company works close together with designers and innovators in contemporary furnishings such as Alexander Girard, Robert Propst, Bill Stumpf, Don Chadwich, Ayse Birsel, Studio 7.5, Dough Ball and more.
