Cartier Ring

In 1847, Louis-François Cartier set up his now-infamous jewelers in the French capital. The elegant pieces produced by Cartier became must-haves amongst royalty and aristocrats across the world, coveted for their neoclassical style and opulent features such a diamonds and platinum. During the 1920s, the 'Trinity de Cartier' collection was introduced, featuring the three interlocking band ring, which continues to be produced today in a variety of colors. One of the most famous Cartier rings was the engagement ring of iconic actress Grace Kelly, which was a 12 carat emerald cut diamond with a platinum band given to her by Prince Rainier III of Monaco in 1956. An extremely popular line from the French jewellers is the 'Love' collection; first released in the 1970s, the line includes bracelets, cufflinks, necklaces, earrings, watches and rings, all with the trademark screw motif.
