Italian early 20th-century cornice with a classical design, featuring vegetal motifs that mark the outer edge and the inner profile. The vertical format and the sequence of moldings provide an articulated presentation, suitable for enhancing portraits, landscapes, or figurative compositions. The wooden construction with preparation and, where present, plaster ornaments is documented by photographs of the front and details. Empty proposal, the frame can be destined for a new pairing with an artwork compatible with its opening. Era: Early 20th century. Country of origin: Italy. Materials: wood and plaster, gilded finish. External dimensions: about 60 × 50 cm, height × width. Internal opening: about 50 × 40 cm, height × width. Sold empty, without painting, glass or mirror. Good overall condition, with patina, small abrasions and signs of use of the finish visible in the details. The back retains marks of previous mounts and surface wear.
