Each coin comes in a protective capsule with its presentation case and numbered Certificate of Authenticity. 1992 – Montréal, 350th Anniversary (1642–1992) The reverse, designed by Stewart Sherwood, features Paul de Chomedey de Maisonneuve holding a plan of the Fort of Mount Royal, with the modern Montréal skyline in the background. Certificate number: 02319. Maximum worldwide mintage stated in the certificate: 55,000 coins. 1996 – Klondike Gold Discovery Centenary (1896–1996) The reverse, designed by John Mantha, depicts prospectors and gold panning, commemorating the centenary of the first major gold discovery in the Klondike. Certificate number: 04512. Maximum worldwide mintage stated in the certificate: 35,000 coins. Both coins feature the portrait of Queen Elizabeth II by Dora de Pédery-Hunt on the obverse.
