Ancient Roman Limestone Face Stele with name of deceased...

IMPORTANT! Due to new custom regulations we can no longer ship outside the E.U. Please make sure you have an EU shipping address before bidding. - A Roman stele is a tall, upright stone slab or pillar carved with reliefs, portraits, or text, used primarily as a funerary monument to commemorate the dead during the Roman Empire. Stelae were placed along roadsides just outside city walls rather than inside enclosed cemeteries.
