Trinidad Carrillo (1975-) Sweden/Peru

Trinidad Carrillo is a Swedish-Peruvian photographer, who studied at Valand School of Fine Art in Gothenburg. Carrillo often works with familiar environments, but using a charged atmosphere and a somewhat absurd nightmarish mood. Technically, she uses various effects and combinations to create works that can be broadly interpreted to have many meanings, both symbolically and with literary associations.
Trinidad has exhibited in spaces such as Artipelag in Stockholm and Göteborgs Konsthall.
