Göran Augustsson (1936-2012) Finland

Göran Augustsson is a Finnish visual artist known for his abstract but nevertheless strict geometric paintings. The paintings are characterized by rhythmically delineated fields inspired by nature. Augustsson studied at the Finnish Art Society’s Drawing School in Turku and the Finnish Academy of Art under the tutelage of Sam Vanni.
