Cleve Gray (1918-2004)

Gray was an abstract expressionist painter. He began his art studies at the age of eleven and later graduated from Princeton University with a degree in art and archaeology. After serving in Europe during World War II Gray continued his art studies in Paris. He is associated with color field painting and lyrical abstraction.
