Ay-O (1931-) Japan

Ay-O is a Japanese visual artist born with the name Takao Iijima. Ay-O's works are known for containing all the colors of the rainbow. Early on, the artist became involved in the international Fluxus movement, which lacks its own stylistic profile, but is viewed as a rebirth of Dadaism. Ay-O’s works are represented at the New York Museum of Modern Art and the Tokyo National Museum of Modern Art.
