Anna Petrus (1886-1949) Sweden

Anna Petrus was a Swedish sculptor and designer. She studied sculpture in London before continuing to study at Althin's School of Painting and later at the Royal Institute of Art in Stockholm. Petrus worked extensively with pewter as a material and was one of the driving influences on design at Svenskt Tenn.
Petrus enjoyed great success at exhibitions worldwide and participated at the Paris World’s Fair of 1925, the Stockholm Exhibition in 1930 and the Swedish industrial art exhibition in London in 1931.
