Alexander Ney (1939-) Russia/USA

Born in Russia the sculptor and painter Alexander Ney emigrated to the USA in 1974. Ney is most famous for his sculptures in terracotta, in intriguing shapes with perforated surfaces. After having attended Leningrad Academy of Arts and Art School of the Surikov Moscow Art Institute, Ney became friends with a multiple number of today’s Russian contemporary artists.
