Zippo - No reserve price - Lighter - Steel (stainless)

Zippo - BLU Gas Lighter - Vertical Abstract Pattern Design - Dusted/Satin Chrome - Made in USA. Up for auction is a very special item and historically significant for brand collectors: a gas lighter from the famous Zippo BLU line, characterized by an elegant and intricate geometric engraving on the front panel. Released by Zippo Manufacturing Company in the late 2000s and now out of production, the Zippo BLU series represents the brand's first real foray into the world of high-technology butane gas lighters. Developed to emit a distinctive blue flame, powerful, odorless, and windproof, this model combines the cleanliness of gas with the timeless mechanical ignition via a flint using the classic knurled wheel. The metal case stands out for a satin chrome finish (Dusted/Satin Chrome) and for a more rounded and ergonomic shape compared with traditional gasoline models. The front face is adorned with a deep vertical engraving: a central column of rectangular blocks surrounded by an abstract texture of crossed micro-squares that evokes a circuit or a modern metal weave. The lid cut follows a sinuous wave line, a distinctive design element of this range. On the side there is the characteristic transparent window to monitor the fuel level. A modern, technological collectible piece, ideal for those who wish to own a unique and out-of-catalog variant of Zippo's history.
