Zippo lighter - Matte Grey - Special Edition "Nave Scuola Amerigo Vespucci" - With original US vintage display stand Object Description Up for auction is an exceptional and highly sought-after Zippo lighter, original Made in USA, a piece of major interest for Italian and international collectors of maritime and military memorabilia. The front panel is beautifully decorated with a precise and detailed color illustration dedicated to the training ship "Amerigo Vespucci", the historic sailing ship and icon of the Italian Navy. The design depicts the majestic vessel sailing with all sails unfurled, rendered in warm browns, beiges, and whites that contrast perfectly with the background color. At the top stands the elegant cursive inscription "Nave Scuola Amerigo Vespucci", topped by a small Italian tricolor flag. On the right side is the official inscription "Printed by Zippo", confirming its factory-original decoration. The metal case features a refined Matte Grey finish (matte gray), smooth and anti-reflective. The lot includes its rare vintage black rigid plastic display stand with raised gold lettering reading "Zippo U.S.A. Lighter" at the top and "Lifetime Guarantee" on the base.
