Zeiss Two-Tone Clarlet Sunglasses West Germany

Zeiss 1970s oversized women's sunglasses featuring a two-tone propionate and acetate frame construction. The rounded butterfly-style front frame is finished in a translucent golden amber, while the temples are composed of a contrasting translucent plum-colored plastic joined by metal multi-barrel hinges. The brownish gradient lenses retain an original yellow and black adhesive sticker reading Zeiss West-Germany Clarlet. The inside of the left temple bears a recessed metal plaque stamped Frame - Germany and 125 MH. The inside of the right temple is printed with the alphanumeric codes MO, AC9, 8073 61-11B, and 195.
