Dive into a fascinating world of powerful expression and emotional contrast with the work “Vibrant Resilience” ("Leuchtende Widerstandskraft")—a brand-new highlight from the renowned “Flowering” series by the artist. This monumental painting captivates with its extraordinary format of 160 x 80 cm and immediately draws every viewer into its spell. The background features a smoky-foggy, atmospheric gradient in deep gray tones, reminiscent of a calm, almost melancholic storm, and, depending on the light, creates shimmering metallic effects. From this monochrome, cloud-like space rise seemingly weightless, luminous, colorful flowers in vivid pink, blue, orange, yellow, and green tones. This breathtaking contrast between the gentle dreariness of the background and the explosive joie de vivre of the blossoms gives the work a deep symbolism of strength, hope, and the beauty that finds its way even in dark moments. Enrich your collection with this expressive unique piece that adds a luxurious yet deeply meaningful touch to any modern living or working space! In 2003 Yannick Leniger began with graffiti painting and gained experience at night through spray cans and working with a variety of substrates. In 2010 Yannick Leniger started creating his characteristic works from the Flowering series, which enjoy great popularity. Through the combination of spray paints and acrylic, Leniger developed different techniques that produce unique effects in his works. These mixed techniques are also found in Yannick Leniger’s current works. Influenced by artists such as Christiaan Lieverse and Pier Toffoletti, current works depict people who are elaborated in conjunction with texture-giving media. Parts are masked, revised, and highlighted in several steps. From 2019 to 2022, Yannick Leniger was a member and treasurer of Kunstforderer e.V. in Unna and supported the association in a variety of creative projects with children and young people, schools, and open all-day settings.
