About the artist: Yamila Velázquez (Las Tunas, Cuba, 1993) is a contemporary artist who uses digital intelligence tools, currently living and working in Alicante, Spain. Owner and partner of a company dedicated to the sale, representation and development of artists and artworks, Velázquez combines her business vision with a deep artistic sensitivity. This Cuban talent has established herself in the realm of digital art, using contemporary media to explore themes related to nature, landscape and the intimate relationship between woman and her environment. Her works subtly and powerfully address topics such as beauty, love, sensuality and feminine delicacy, always framed in enveloping, romantic and refined atmospheres. With a vibrant and expressive aesthetic, Yamila Velázquez manages to fuse classical influences with a modern language, yielding versatile, fresh and deeply evocative works. The painterly texture of her images, the masterful use of color and the emotionally balanced composition position her work as a current artistic proposal of high aesthetic value. Shipping and presentation: The work will be carefully packaged by a professional and sent in a rigid cardboard tube, internally protected with bubble wrap to guarantee its integrity during transport. Shipments are made through reliable courier companies such as UPS, FedEx or Correos España, depending on the destination and the most convenient option in each case. The estimated delivery time is 7 to 10 days, though it may vary depending on the destination country. This striking diptych juxtaposes two iconic cinematic interpretations of the Joker, modeled as intricate sculptures composed of thousands of small blocks and stony pieces in gray, sober tones. In the left panel is the intense close-up gaze of Heath Ledger’s Joker with his characteristic painted smile, while the right panel portrays Joaquin Phoenix’s melancholic profile with his classic clown makeup. Deep glowing cracks filled with golden specks traverse the faces, suits and shoulders of both figures, directly linking the composition with the ancient Japanese technique of Kintsugi. By sealing these fractures with gold leaf, the piece transcends pain, madness and the psychological breaking that define this character; the scars are not concealed, but become the central axis of the work, demonstrating that in trauma, mental rupture and the tragic history of the villain lies a fascinating resilience turned into art."}
