About the artist: Yamila Velázquez (Las Tunas, Cuba, 1993) is a contemporary artist who uses digital intelligence tools; she currently lives and works in Alicante, Spain. Owner and partner of a company dedicated to the sale, representation and development of artists and artworks, Velázquez combines her business vision with deep artistic sensitivity. This young Cuban talent has established herself in the realm of digital art, using contemporary means to explore themes related to nature, landscape and the intimate relationship between woman and her environment. Her works gently and powerfully address themes such as beauty, love, sensuality and feminine delicacy, always framed within enveloping, romantic and refined atmospheres. With a vibrant and expressive aesthetic, Yamila Velázquez manages to fuse classic influences with a modern language, resulting in versatile, fresh and deeply evocative works. The painterly texture of her images, the masterful use of color, and the emotionally balanced composition position her work as a contemporary art proposal of high aesthetic value. Shipping and presentation: The work will be carefully packaged by a professional and shipped in a rigid cardboard tube, internally protected with bubble wrap to guarantee its integrity during transport. A woman with her back to us, dressed in classic elegance, walks slowly along a cobbled street in Paris, guided by the warmth of the street lamps and the horizon crowned by the majestic Eiffel Tower. It is sunset: the hour when the city becomes a poem, and art finds in everyday life its perfect canvas. From a technical perspective, the painting stands out for its remarkable handling of color and light. The warm illumination emanating from the cafes contrasts with the blue-wet finish of the pavement, reflecting an atmosphere of a recent rain that multiplies the highlights, tones, and memories. The artist uses soft but firm brushstrokes, imitating the stroke of oil on canvas, with well-defined architectural details and a looser gestural quality in the trees and sky. This resource achieves a balance between the tangible and the emotional, between the real and the dreamt. The woman, the compositional and emotional center of the scene, does not show her face. Her stylized silhouette, her cream-colored dress in motion, her wide-brimmed hat… everything about her is evocative. She walks alone, but she is not alone: the entire city accompanies her. The lit cafes, the inhabited windows, the passersby advancing like shadows in the background... Paris is a character, a stage that does not overwhelm but surrounds. Conceptually, this work is an exaltation of the stroll as an aesthetic act, the fleeting moment as epiphany. Paris is shown not as a tourist place, but as a state of mind. The scene is an invitation to pause, to contemplate, to listen to the language of footsteps on the wet cobblestones, to smell the coffee, to feel that time does not run, but dances. The warm palette, the reflections on the ground, the red awnings, the flowering balconies and, of course, the unmistakable silhouette of the Eiffel Tower in the background, build a universe that seems drawn from an idealized memory, yet deeply intimate. This canvas does not seek to narrate a story with a beginning and an end: its strength lies in freezing a universal, deeply human moment. Paris, Between Lights and Steps is not just decorative painting: it is an emotional pause. A homage to the woman who walks, to the moment that shines, and to the city that whispers. It encapsulates a promise: that beauty, when lived slowly, becomes eternity.
