About the artist: Yamila Velázquez (Las Tunas, Cuba, 1993) is a contemporary artist who uses digital intelligence tools; she currently lives and works in Alicante, Spain. Owner and partner of a company dedicated to the sale, representation, and development of artists and artworks, Velázquez combines her business vision with a deep artistic sensibility. This young Cuban talent has established herself in the field of digital art, using contemporary media to explore themes related to nature, landscape, and the intimate relationship between woman and her environment. Her works gently yet powerfully address topics such as beauty, love, sensuality, and feminine delicacy, always framed in enveloping, romantic, and refined atmospheres. With a vibrant and expressive aesthetic, Yamila Velázquez manages to fuse classical influences with a modern language, yielding versatile, fresh, and deeply evocative works. The pictorial texture of her images, masterful use of color, and emotionally balanced composition position her work as a contemporary artistic proposal of high aesthetic value. Shipping and presentation: The work will be carefully packaged by a professional and shipped in a rigid cardboard tube, internally protected with bubble wrap to ensure its integrity during transport. Shipments are carried out through reliable courier services such as UPS, FedEx, or Correos España, depending on the destination and the most convenient option in each case. The estimated delivery time is 7 to 10 days, though it may vary depending on the destination country. The piece Peacock: Vanity Reconstructed is a sublime meditation on majesty and vulnerability, capturing the Peacock not as a mere creature, but as a living sculpture of the philosophy of Kintsugi. The artist presents it in a noble-profile pose, wrapped in dramatic darkness that accentuates its luminosity. The surface of its plumage, especially the body and the upper part, displays an intricate craquelure that simulates the fragility of fine porcelain. This deliberate fracture is repaired through a detailed network of flowing gold, tracing every crack and contour. The gold here is not only a repairing element but a guiding thread that connects the memory of its past with its present splendor. The color contrast is striking: the immaculate white of the under-feathers and the deep regal blue of the neck and crest, both enhanced by gold. This use of Kintsugi transforms the concept of beauty, suggesting that the true identity and resilience of the Peacock, a traditional symbol of immortality and vanity, reside precisely in the scars that make it unique. It is a powerful visual statement about the beauty of imperfection and how growth stems from rebuilding what has been damaged.
