About the artist: Yamila Velázquez (Las Tunas, Cuba, 1993) is a contemporary artist who uses digital intelligence tools, currently living and working in Alicante, Spain. Owner and partner of a company dedicated to the sale, representation and development of artists and artworks, Velázquez combines her business vision with a deep artistic sensibility. This young Cuban talent has established herself in the digital art field, using contemporary means to explore themes related to nature, landscape and the intimate relationship between woman and her surroundings. Her works address with subtlety and visual strength themes such as beauty, love, sensuality and female delicacy, always framed in enveloping, romantic and refined atmospheres. With a vibrant and expressive aesthetic, Yamila Velázquez manages to fuse classical influences with a modern language, yielding versatile, fresh and deeply evocative works. The pictorial texture of her images, the masterful use of color and the emotionally balanced composition position her work as a current art proposal of high aesthetic value. Shipping and presentation: The work will be carefully packaged by a professional and shipped in a rigid cardboard tube, internally protected with bubble wrap to guarantee its integrity during transport. Shipments are made through reliable courier companies such as UPS, FedEx or Correos España, depending on the destination and the most convenient option in each case. The estimated delivery time is 7 to 10 days, although it may vary depending on the destination country. The artist uses the surface of the vinyl toy not only as a canvas but as a metaphor for global and damaged identity. The face, with its X marks (a sign of anonymity and denial), is visibly fractured and sutured with a shiny reddish-gold. This Kintsugi applied to the face not only repairs the cracks but illuminates the inherent trauma and the alienation that the icon often represents. The body, which displays golden patterns and blue fragments suggesting a map or a broken porcelain, rests on a background of organic and misty patterns executed in gold and black tones. This background reinforces the sense of a shattered and repaired underlying reality. The work transcends the art toy category to become a powerful meditation on the fragility of the contemporary soul. By applying Kintsugi, the artist not only repairs the figure but imbues it with spiritual nobility, celebrating that true value and deeper beauty are found in the story of imperfections and the capacity to rebuild.
