About the artist: Yamila Velázquez (Las Tunas, Cuba, 1993) is a contemporary artist who uses digital intelligence tools, currently living and working in Alicante, Spain. Owner and partner of a company dedicated to the sale, representation and development of artists and artworks, Velázquez combines her business vision with a deep artistic sensitivity. This young Cuban talent has established herself in the field of digital art, using contemporary media to explore themes related to nature, the landscape, and the intimate relationship between woman and her environment. Her works address with subtlety and visual strength topics such as beauty, love, sensuality and feminine delicacy, always framed in enveloping, romantic and refined atmospheres. With a vibrant and expressive aesthetic, Yamila Velázquez manages to fuse classical influences with a modern language, resulting in versatile, fresh and deeply evocative works. The pictorial texture of her images, the masterful use of color, and the emotionally balanced composition position her work as a current artistic proposal of high aesthetic value. Shipping and presentation: The artwork will be carefully packaged by a professional and shipped in a rigid cardboard tube, internally protected with bubble wrap to ensure its integrity during transport. Shipments are made through reliable courier companies such as UPS, FedEx or Correos España, depending on destination and the most convenient option in each case. Estimated delivery time is 7 to 10 days, though it may vary depending on destination country. This notable sacred artwork, which depicts Mary and Jesus as high-quality porcelain figures with their radiant Sacred Hearts, transcends traditional iconography by incorporating the deep philosophy and aesthetics of Kintsugi. The Japanese technique of Kintsugi, which celebrates the beauty of imperfection and resilience by repairing cracks with gold dust, is manifested here in the intricate gold lines that traverse the faces, hands and garments of the figures. This “golden union” not only highlights supposed fractures, but elevates them, symbolizing redemption and the strength that arises from overcoming wounds and trials of life, turning scars into marks of divine beauty. The interaction between the perceived fragility of porcelain and the luminous solidity of the gold repairs adds a layer of contemporary spiritual meaning and a unique aesthetic sophistication, perfect for a collection of sacred and modern art.
