Wxyz - Sculpture, "322-1" - 184.5 mm - Ceramics - Stoneware - 2025

Wxyz – “322-1” Glazed ceramic sculpture – unique edition – Signed Note that this is a model twice as large as the works usually offered by Wxyz, namely 18.45 cm instead of 9 cm. In the brochure (see photos) the small 9 cm high works are offered for €500. Now, a unique opportunity for a work by this emerging Parisian artist.. Wxyz, an artist from the Parisian urban scene, has been exploring the idea of the signature since the beginning, starting as an exercise in calligraphic distortion. With “322-1,” he makes a decisive step: his handwriting definitively leaves the wall to take form in a standalone object. This figure, a true three-dimensional signature, forms today the core of his practice. Each sculpture is a unique variation, never reproduced identically, so every “322-1” is a unique piece that is immediately recognizable. This work, crafted from glazed ceramic, powerfully conveys the world of the artist: mineral textures, irregular surfaces, wear and imperfections that instantly evoke urban walls and the inscriptions on them. The flat color fields — rough and high-contrast — intensify the tension between formal control and spontaneous energy. At the intersection of street art and contemporary sculpture, Wxyz imposes a rare language in which repetition becomes a signature and each piece serves as a print. This unique, entirely hand-made sculpture is intended for both street-art collectors and lovers of powerful contemporary forms. Wxyz’s work is gaining visibility and fits into the current dynamic of recognizing practices that originate on the street and develop into lasting art forms. A piece that is both accessible and highly collectible and embodies an important milestone in the artist’s development. Carefully packed and shipped
