Union Switch & Signal Co. M1911A1 semi-automatic pistol chambered in .45 ACP, serial no. 1080853, (1943). Slide marked "U.S. & S. CO. / SWISSVALE, PA. U.S.A." with US&S monogram. Frame marked "UNITED STATES PROPERTY / M 1911 A1 U.S. ARMY" with ci led "R.C.D." inspection mark and "RIA / FK" Rock Island Arsenal inspection markings. Parkerized finish, checkered brown grips and 5" barrel. Includes leather military-style shoulder holster with one additional magazine. Scattered scratches, hand g marks and edge wear.
