The structure, elegantly shaped on all sides, features the characteristic serpentine, undulating line, designed to allow the piece to be placed in the center of the room and admired from every angle. The top, richly decorated with refined ornamental inlays, rests on a body entirely veneered in precious woods and embellished by spectacular gilt-bronze applications, including notable **female caryatids** applied to the corners, shaped **sabots** and finely chased hardware. The front hosts **five drawers**, of which the central one is shaped and the four lateral ones are bombé, all enriched with elegant rocaille handles and high-quality finishes. The sinuous **cabriole legs** give the composition momentum and lightness, while the continuing decoration on the back testifies to its original purpose as a centerpiece for the room.
