Descriptio Plaster. Dimensions: 51 × 29 × 24 cm. Sculptural study from the workshop of Gustave Fontaine, conceived as an academic or working model. This type of piece was commonly used as a training exercise or reference for finished sculptures, and reflects the academic training and sculptural language developed in Belgian workshops at the beginning of the 20th century. Due to its age and history of use, this lot may show signs of wear and previous interventions. Unless explicitly stated otherwise, no specialized technical testing has been performed. The absence of any mention of restorations does not guarantee that none exist. You may request additional information before placing a bid. This does not affect the buyer’s statutory rights.
