Certified Italian Silver Jewel — Pendant in silver made from a natural slice derived from a rare stalactite of malachite, selected for material quality, color intensity, and internal structure. The section showcases an exceptional succession of concentric bands, clearly readable, the result of slow, layered growth that occurred over geological time. In this specimen, malachite, basic copper carbonate, formed according to stalactitic growth, a relatively uncommon phenomenon that develops in hypogeal environments rich in cupriferous solutions. The mineral progressively precipitates, drop by drop, along cavities and fractures of the rock, giving rise to radial structures and successive rings, resembling organic cross-sections, which make each piece unique. Natural chrysocolla is present, visible mainly along the margins and in the more porous areas, recognizable by its blue-green tones. Chrysocolla, a copper silicate hydrate, enriches the pendant both chromatically and mineralogically, creating a harmonious contrast with the deep greens of malachite. The surface is finely polished to enhance the depth of the bands, while the edge preserves an authentic tactile quality, a testament to the original structure of the stalactite. The hand-worked silver setting is essential and functional, designed to support the mineral section without overpowering it. The pendant sits at the boundary between jewelry and a collectible object, suitable for collectors of minerals, rare gems, and artisanal jewelry of character. Unique piece. Color variations and inclusions are natural and attest to the authenticity of the stalactitic formation.
