In good, excellent condition, a beautiful industrial Art Deco Bauhaus tilt stainless steel glass ashtray ‘model 504’, a design by the German designer Wilhelm Wagenfeld (1900-1990) and produced by WMF Germany. The stainless Cromargan tilt-insert tray is at the bottom and bears the mark WMF - CROMARGAN GERMANY, see the second photo. This ashtray is described in a book: "Täglich in der Hand": Industrial designs by Wilhelm Wagenfeld from six decades / compiled by Beate Manske and Gudrun Scholz, commissioned by the senator for Education, Science and Art of the Free Hanseatic City of Bremen, 1998, page 332. Note: Some scratches on the steel and on the bottom of the glass due to age and use. Please view all photos carefully before bidding. Dimensions: Height 8 cm x Diameter 8.5 cm.
