Wine cooler - Plastic - Vintage wine cooler

A distinctive vintage wine cooler / bottle cooler, presumably from the 1970s, made in dark smoked brown transparent acrylic/plexiglass. The wine cooler features a striking geometric design with a tall rectangular housing, a large curved carrying handle, and a round transparent lid. The combination of smoked brown transparent plastic and clear acrylic details gives the object a pronounced Space Age / Italian modernist appearance. The interior is also entirely made of acrylic/plexiglass. In terms of design and materials, the wine cooler evokes the table and bar accessories designed in the 1970s, for example for Cini & Nils, which frequently used colored and transparent acrylic in geometric forms. However, no factory mark, signature, or other brand mark was found on this piece. The designer and manufacturer therefore cannot be determined with certainty. For this reason the object is offered as “in the style of Cini & Nils” and not as a design by Cini & Nils. The round transparent lid is present. The wine cooler is in good vintage condition with signs of use and aging appropriate to its age. See the photos for a good impression of the condition.
