Wilhelm Schweizer: kindje Jezus in de wieg

Stained glass with lead came. Diameter 9 cm. Depicts the baby Jesus in the manger. In Bavaria and Germany there is a specific name for it: Fatschenkind. It is very humorously made because the tiny blanket is in Bavarian colors: blue and white. Referring to the Bavarian state colors. Above the baby Jesus the sun shines, and on both sides there are the symbolic rose bushes representing Mary. A superbly beautiful ornament painted on lead mounted onto glass. The glass is set in lead. It is about 9 cm in diameter. The small black dot in the middle is dirt on the camera lens. Super beautiful, super nice and quite valuable normally. You would pay more than €150 for this kind of tableau in Munich. This is really a very special object. Worldwide shipping. Shipping within the EU with UPS. Insured shipping within the EU. Shipping outside the EU by mail. Track and trace. Well packed. Shipped from France or Italy where I live. The decoration is not for sale. See the photos; they are explicitly part of the description.
