Wilfried Raguel - Le bouquet de fleurs

Oil painting on canvas by Wilfried Raguël, titled Le Bouquet de fleurs, 2020, original work, 90 × 90 cm, portrait, signed on the back, contemporary style, sold directly by the artist, excellent condition. In this portrait, Wilfried Raguël combines a female figure with a particularly lush floral composition, in a palette dominated by blues, greens and purples. The contrast between the presence of the figure, the richness of the bouquet, and the deliberately absent gaze creates an image that is at once strong and enigmatic. The absent gaze, a recurring element in the artist's work, questions our way of perceiving the other, while the flowers bring to the composition a dimension both delicate and symbolic. French artist based in Madrid and a graduate of the Beaux-Arts, Wilfried Raguël develops a body of work around portrait, identity and representation. Original and unique work, signed on the back. Excellent condition. Sold directly by the artist.
