Entwurf Gustav Gurschner (Mühldorf 1873- Wien 1971), seltene Keramikfigur eines weiblichen Halbakts mit fließendem Gewand, die in ihren Händen eine geätzte, irisierende Glaskugel als Lichtschirm trägt, pastelltonig staffiert, seitl. am Sockel die Prägesig. "Gurschner", us. bez. "Deposé" und die Bienenmarke "Förster" der Kunstkeramischen Fabrik A. Förster & Co aus der Zeit zwischen 1898-1908. Kleiner Haarriss am Gewand, an den vorderen Ecken des Sockels und am Abschluss des Gewandes wurde die Figur farblich ausgebessert, tlw. berieben, Elektrifizierung geprüft - Lampe funktionstüchtig, H 52 cm. | VIENNA Förster & Co. Figurative Art Nouveau table lamp, ca. 1905, designed by Gustav Gurschner (Mühldorf 1873–Vienna 1971), a rare ceramic figure of a female semi-nude with a flowing robe, holding an etched, iridescent glass sphere as a lampshade in her hands, finished in pastel tones, with the embossed signature “Gurschner,” inscribed “Deposé,” and the “Förster” bee mark of the A. Förster & Co. Art Ceramics Factory from the period between 1898–1908. Small hairline crack on the robe; the front corners of the base and the hem of the robe have been retouched with color and are partially worn; electrical system tested—lamp in working order, H 52 cm.
