White Star Line First Class passenger list booklet for the R.M.S. Majestic, dated December 5, 1925. This ephemeral item was issued for a voyage departing New York for Cherbourg and Southampton. The cover features the company name in stylized gilt-toned lettering and the red White Star pennant. The interior title page identifies the ship as "The Largest Steamer in the World" at 56,551 tons. The booklet provides detailed descriptions of first-class amenities, including the Dining Saloon, Swimming Bath, Gymnasium, and Lounge. The rear cover features a printed map of the North Atlantic with a "Memorandum of Log" section. This section has been inscribed by hand in ink and pencil, recording daily navigational data, distances, and weather remarks for the dates of December 5 through December. Notable passengers includes American actress and film producer Betty Compson, and American businessman Ralph B. Strassburger.
