Westmalle Chimay - Sign - Metal

Westmalle is a Trappist beer brewed at the Abbey of Our Lady of the Sacred Heart of Westmalle. The monastery of Westmalle was elevated to an abbey of the Order of Trappists in 1836. In the same year, the monks began brewing beer, initially only for their own use, but from 1856 also for sale. The brewery has since been expanded and modernized several times, the last time in 2001. Chimay height 25.5 cm, length 45 cm, depth 0.2 cm The oval-shaped plaque has a burgundy background with the text "Bière Forte des Trappistes CHIMAY" and the abbey's distinctive logo. Such plaques are often used as wall decorations in cafés, bars, or man caves.
