Welo opal is Ethiopian

Adjustable 925 silver ring (S925 stamp) set with five Ethiopian opals cut in a faceted oval. The adjustable setting fits several finger sizes. The Ethiopian opal comes from the Wollo (Welo) region. The deposit was discovered in 2008 and surprised the gemology world: its play of colors rivals that of Australian opals. Each stone has its own fire, blue, green, pink or orange depending on the angle of the light. Important: the opal fires change very much depending on lighting, light, and brightness. The photos show the same ring under different lighting: in natural light, under a lamp, or in subdued indoor light; colors, their intensity and distribution vary. The stones may appear more milky or more colorful depending on conditions. In lithotherapy, opal is associated with creativity, intuition, and optimism. It is the birthstone of October, which makes it a perfect gift. Real photography, what you see is what you receive. 1. Secure shipping with tracking number. 2. Shipped twice a week. All my stones are genuine, untreated in color, resin, or plastic. They have all been carefully selected, but as they are natural and handmade products, they may sometimes show minor imperfections. 4. Set in 925 silver. Adjustable size 53/56. 5. The opal has shifting reflections depending on light, indoor lighting or sunlight. The photos were taken from different angles and under different lighting conditions to show you the different aspects. Thank you for your interest and happy bidding.
