Welo opal is Ethiopian

Adjustable ring in 925 silver (S925 hallmark) set with five Ethiopian opals cut in a faceted oval. The adjustable mounting fits multiple finger sizes. The Ethiopian opal comes from the Wollo (Welo) region. The deposit was discovered in 2008 and surprised the gemology world: its play of colors rivals Australian opals. Each stone has its own fire, blue, green, pink or orange depending on the angle of light. Important: the opal fires are highly variable depending on lighting, light, and brightness. The photos show the same ring under different illuminations: in natural light, under a lamp, or in subdued indoor light; the colors, their intensity and distribution vary. The stones may appear more milky or more colorful depending on conditions. In lithotherapy, opal is associated with creativity, intuition, and optimism. It is the birthstone of October, making it a perfect gift. Real photographs, what you see is what you receive. 1. Secured shipment with tracking number. 2. Shipped twice a week. For Europe and international destinations, delivery may take 8 to 15 days depending on the destination and border customs clearance times. 3. All my stones are genuine, with no color treatment, resin, or plastic. They have all been selected with care, but as they are natural and artisanal products, they may sometimes have small imperfections. 4. Set in 925 silver. Adjustable size 53/56. 5. The opal has shifting reflections depending on light, indoor lighting, or sunlight. Photos were taken from different angles and lighting conditions to show its different aspects.
