This Wedgwood platter is composed of fine earthenware, specifically the factory's Queen's ware, featuring a matte Moonstone glaze. The Springtime pattern was designed by Millicent Taplin and introduced circa 1939. The central motif consists of a hand-painted floral spray with stylized pink, light blue, and yellow blossoms amidst green and brown foliage. A thin ochre-colored band is applied to the inner edge of the rim. The reverse of the plate displays a green-printed mark for SPRINGTIME WEDGWOOD ETRURIA - ENGLAND. Various handwritten notations are present, including 11083-8, C1435, 785, and CMH. 6274 M. The underside also features a Rubin Collection sticker and a historical label detailing the pattern's origin. Dimensions: 1.5"H x 12.5"dia. Condition Request Condition Report Good
