Beautiful and very rare antique Wedgwood dinner plate (Etruria, England) in the iconic "Yellow Cuckoo" pattern (pattern number A7282). This unique plate is guaranteed to have been produced in 1897 (over 129 years old!), as confirmed by the original factory stamps and the rare three-letter blind stamp in the clay on the back. The plate features a lovely Chinoiserie style with a refined image of a bird on flowering branches against a pale yellow background. The rim is elegantly fluted (Queen's Shape) and shows a brilliant, subtle pearl luster in the light (lustre glaze). Diameter: 24 cm (large dinner plate) Condition: As new! No chips, no cracks and no restorations. The gloss and colors are still perfectly intact.
