Waterman C/F vintage – French fountain pen – Gold-plated cap – 14K gold nib – 1950s/60s era Description Elegant vintage Waterman C/F fountain pen, of French manufacture, dating roughly to the second half of the 1950s through the 1960s. Model characterized by the refined black glossy body and a gold-plated metal cap finely ribbed, with the Waterman clip integrated into the profile. On the cap the Waterman markings are visible, along with those referring to the gold/plaque Or finish. The grip section features the distinctive semi-recessed nib, one of the hallmarks of the Waterman C/F. This line of fountain pens used a cartridge feeding system, at the time particularly innovative; the original C/F cartridges are of a proprietary format and do not correspond to the standard modern Waterman cartridges.
