Wassily Kandinsky: “With and Against, 1929”. Authorized offset litho. Condition: the work is in excellent condition. Size: 70 x 50 cm. Wassily Kandinsky (1866-1944) was one of the pioneers of abstract art and one of the most influential artists of the twentieth century, generally regarded as one of the founders of modern non-figurative painting. As a member of Der Blaue Reiter and later a teacher at the Bauhaus, Kandinsky developed a revolutionary visual language based on color, geometry and rhythm, with the aim of expressing spiritual and emotional ideas without the need for realistic representation. His work is often associated with major modernist masters such as Pablo Picasso, Paul Klee, Piet Mondrian, Kazimir Malevich and Joan Miró, whose innovations shaped the course of modern art. Due to its strong decorative impact, historical significance and connection to the origins of abstract art, works by Wassily Kandinsky remain highly sought after in the world of fine art prints, modern art, Bauhaus design and interior decoration, especially among buyers interested in artists such as Picasso, Klimt, Miró, Mondrian, Dalí, Warhol and Rothko, whose names continue to lead the international art market and modern art auctions.
