Bears the white-painted numbers No. 13118 and 304 - Collection of Seymour and Alyce Lazar, Palm Springs - Sotheby’s auction, New York, “Sculpture From The Collection Of Seymour And Alyce Lazar, Palm Springs,” October 6, 2022, lot no. 64 A war club adorned with a large bird’s head and featuring an unusual design, this weapon was already listed in the inventory of the dealer W.D. Webster at the turn of the 20th century.
