Wall mirror - Glass, brass/metal - Retro Regency neck mirror

Elegant wall mirror with a gold-colored surround and shell-shaped hanging ornament – mid-century look A mirror that does more than reflect! This graceful piece combines a warm gold-toned frame with a fine, down-tapering shape. The rounded corners and softly curved contours give the mirror an elegant silhouette, while the slim frame keeps the overall effect light. At the top there is a decorative, shell-shaped ornament with radiating ribs. A ring connects this ornament to the mirror. The surround has multiple parallel profiles and is accented at the bottom by a small connecting piece: subtle details that give the design character. The combination of a rounded trapezoid shape and a slim gold-colored frame evokes wall mirrors from the mid-twentieth century. Similar models are described as designs from the 1950s. This is a stylistic comparison; the exact dating, maker and origin of this mirror have not been established. (yestersen.com) A atmospheric eye-catcher above a sideboard, in the hall or a bedroom.
