Wall mirror- Antique wall hanging with cherub/angel - No reserve price - Brass

Antique wall mirror, made in finely worked gilded brass with intricate perforated detailing. Dating to the first half of the 20th century (roughly the 1930s/1940s). At the top (crest) is depicted the half-length figure of an angel/cherub with wings spread. The outer frame features refined perforated work, edged both inside and outside by a meander motif (small geometric squares). The back of the mirror is protected by a wooden panel, firmly secured to the structure with golden screws. Equipped with a solid metal hook with a triangular ring hinged on the back for easy wall hanging. It shows natural and fascinating signs of time and use, with a splendid antique patina. Mirror clean and well preserved.
