All auctions / Furniture, Design & Mirrors / Vitra - Charles & Ray Eames - Armchair - 670 Lounge Chair - Leather
Very rare and elegant ALL-BLACK edition of the iconic Eames Lounge Chair, produced by Vitra. This version features black plywood shells combined with black leather upholstery, creating a striking and timeless monochrome appearance. The chair shows a beautiful natural patina and signs of use consistent with its age, adding character and authenticity without compromising comfort or functionality. The original polished aluminium (“chrome look”) base provides a refined contrast to the dark tones and enhances the sculptural quality of the design. A highly sought-after configuration, rarely found in this fully black execution, and an excellent example of mid-century modern design that remains as relevant today as ever. Please review all photos carefully, as they are part of the description. Large and fragile items are shipped via Magic Movers or a comparable professional art and furniture transport service. Delivery time is usually 2–3 weeks, depending on destination and availability. Smaller items are shipped via insured parcel service and are carefully packed. Shipping prices are shown in the advertisement.
