This authentic vintage Moroccan Talsint rug dates from the 1970s–1980s and originates from the Talsint region, located in eastern Morocco, near the High Atlas. Talsint rugs are known for their dense pile, earthy color palette, and geometric Berber patterns. The rug is handwoven using natural wool, featuring a rich textured surface with a subtle diamond motif repeated across the field. The colors combine soft shades of beige, brown, grey, and muted mineral tones, creating a warm and timeless aesthetic that fits both traditional and contemporary interiors. The pile is thick and resilient, with original fringes preserved on both ends. The rug is in very good vintage condition, with no structural damage, no holes, and no repairs. It has aged beautifully and retains its original character.
