Vintage Sterling Silver and Gold Marcasite and Black Onyx Ring

Vintage cocktail ring featuring a marquise-cut onyx, bezel-set within a gold twisted wire frame. The setting is designed with a scalloped, tiered border set with numerous round-cut marcasites. The band transitions to split, reeded shoulders and includes a secondary adjustable metal sizer attached to the interior. The exterior of the shank bears two small impressed marks in rectangular cartouches. The lot includes a green faux-crocodile patterned jewelry box with a hinged lid. Tested as sterling silver and gold with Thermo Scientific Niton XL2 XRF Precious Metal Analyzer. Ring size: 6 (adjustable).
