Pink and violet, orange and blue: The sapphires in this vintage necklace sparkle so beautifully that it’s a joy to admire the piece of jewellery in the light. Especially since these wonderful stones have been paired with approximately 1.65 ct of high-quality diamonds: Sparkling light, set individually as points and in flowing bands, surrounds the sapphires and makes the entire piece of jewellery shine. The necklace is handcrafted from white gold. It consists of a center piece set with gemstones and a chain made of rods connected by eyelets. The unusual chain design gives the necklace a very modern look, and the delicate chain also provides a beautiful contrast to the boldly designed center piece with its rich gemstone setting. It is only upon closer inspection that one notices the necklace’s slightly asymmetrical design in the details: this lends the piece a certain dynamism. We discovered the necklace in Frankfurt am Main. It was most likely crafted in Germany. An independent appraisal of the piece’s diamonds and sapphires is included with the necklace.
