A charming vintage Indonesian wooden panel, entirely hand-carved and hand-painted, depicting two traditionally dressed figures beneath a large tropical palm tree. The scene appears to represent everyday life, with the figures carrying baskets or goods, creating a lively and distinctly Southeast Asian composition. The panel is carved from a single substantial piece of wood, with openwork sections between the figures and the palm tree. The relief carving is complemented by hand-applied colours in green, blue, red, yellow and natural wood tones. Fine incised lines throughout the surface emphasize the clothing, foliage and other decorative details. The reverse retains its original “Hand Made in Indonesia” label, providing a clear indication of its Indonesian origin. The piece is designed with a wide base and can stand independently, making it suitable both as a wall decoration and as a freestanding display object. The item is in very good preserved condition, with no cracks or breaks and no significant signs of wear. The surface shows the natural character and patina expected from a vintage handmade object. Dimensions: approx. 25 × 19 × 2 cm Weight: approx. 240 g Worldwide shipping. Shipping fee includes professional carefully packaging to ensure safe and secure delivery.
