Villeroy & Boch - R. Daemen - Statuette, Maternité - 37 cm - Porcelain - 1935
Art Deco sculpture of Mary with Child, by René Daemen for Villeroy & Boch from 1935. Professionally shipped – almost 1000 five-star reviews worldwide. "Maternité", a design by René Daemen for Villeroy & Boch from the 1930s, is rendered in white-glazed porcelain with subtle crackle. The modernist form with flowing lines and abstract interpretation of Mary and child emphasizes universal maternal tenderness and gives the sculpture a timeless appearance. It is in good condition with normal signs of use and a number of small imperfections, craquelures and spots in the glaze. Please view the attached photos, they are part of the description. Shipped with track & trace.
